Voice commands

In Telegram, send a voice note or type the same phrases as a normal message (not a /command). You can also use the browser microphone on Profile. English, Arabic, and German are supported.

Arabic accuracy: In Profile → Language, choose العربية. With Groq Whisper, the engine then uses Arabic mode and vocabulary hints (بول، نام، …). Short words work best: say only the command, clearly, in a quiet room.

Diapers

Single-word Arabic works: بول (wet), براز (dirty). If the app heard “Bull” or “Nam”, update the app — those mis-hearings are corrected automatically when Profile language is Arabic.

Transcription engines (Profile)

Local Python — Private on your server; slower. Uses Profile language when set.
Groq Whisper — Fast cloud; best for Arabic when Profile language is العربية and GROQ_API_KEY is set.
Google Cloud — Alternative cloud STT.
Browser microphone — Chrome/Edge live speech on the website (not Telegram files).

Tips for better recognition

Match Profile → Language to the language you speak.
Use one short command per voice note (2–5 seconds).
Reduce background noise; hold the phone close.
For Arabic on Groq, optional: set GROQ_WHISPER_MODEL=whisper-large-v3 in .env (slightly slower, often more accurate than turbo).
The bot reply shows “Heard: …” — if that text is wrong, fix language settings or rephrase; the log uses that transcript.

Not available by voice

Medicine doses, growth measurements, photos, and detailed health notes are not voice-logged. Use the app or Telegram menu buttons for those.
