Feeding Guide
Track breast, bottle, and solid food intake with our smart timer and analytics.
Types of Feeding
Baby Tracker supports three feeding types:
- Breast: Track nursing sessions with side-specific timers (left/right/both). Duration is recorded in minutes.
- Bottle: Record the amount in milliliters (ml) to track daily total consumption.
- Solid: Log solid food intake with duration tracking.
Feeding Timer
The built-in timer helps you track feeding duration accurately:
- Click "Start Timer" when you begin feeding.
- Use "Pause" if the feeding is interrupted.
- Click "Reset" to clear the timer.
- After feeding, the duration auto-fills in the form. Click "Log Feeding Session" to save.
Timer Tip: The timer continues running even if you close the browser or go offline. Your progress is saved locally.
Editing or Deleting Records
To modify a feeding record:
- Go to the History page.
- Find the feeding record you want to change.
- Click the pencil icon to edit or the trash icon to delete.
Feeding Analytics
Growth stats, sleep analysis, feeding charts, and clinical indicators
- Daily intake chart (breast sessions estimated from duration, age, and weight).
- Feeding frequency trends over time.
- Average feeding duration and amount.
Notes & caregiver detail
Capture reflux cues, pumping supplements, or caregiver observations—those notes travel with each feed into History and exports.
Mixed feeding paths
Breast durations and bottle milliliters stack independently so Analytics can sum totals without overwriting modalities.
Tracking for Premature Babies
For premature babies, you can adjust tracking by using corrected age. Consult your pediatrician for appropriate feeding targets. The app records all data accurately regardless of age calculation.
Medical Disclaimer: This app is for tracking purposes only. Always consult your pediatrician for medical advice regarding your baby's feeding and nutrition.
