Dashboard Guide

Learn how to navigate your dashboard, understand statistics, and manage your baby's daily activities.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard is your main hub for tracking your baby's daily activities. It provides real-time updates on feeding, sleep, diaper changes, and health metrics.

Tip: The dashboard automatically shows data for your currently selected child. Use the child selector in the navbar to switch between multiple children.

Statistics Cards

Four key statistics cards give you a quick overview of your baby's day:

  • Last Feed: Shows the time of the last feeding and how long ago it occurred. The progress bar indicates daily feeding goal completion.
  • Sleep Status: If baby is sleeping, shows duration. If awake, shows time since last wake-up.
  • Today's Diapers: Displays wet and dirty diaper counts for the current day.
  • Total Events: Shows total number of activities logged today with a link to detailed analytics.

Switching Between Children

If you have multiple children registered, use the child selector dropdown in the top navbar. Click on the current child's name to see a list of all your children and switch between them instantly. All data is isolated per child.

Quick-Add Buttons

Each tracking section has its own form for quick logging:

  • Feeding Tracker: Log breast, bottle, or solids with timer support.
  • Sleep Tracking: Start/stop sleep timer or manually enter sleep times.
  • Diaper Changes: Log wet, dirty, or both with optional notes and photos.
  • Health & Vitals: Record weight, height, temperature, and head circumference.

Today's timeline & readable labels

Under the dashboard statistics, Today's Activities shows recent events with icons and localized text for diaper status, sleep quality, feeding type, and more—matching what you see in History.

History page

Open Analytics → History (or related shortcuts) to review everything you logged—feeds, sleep, diapers, and health—in one chronological archive.

  • Tabs filter by activity type so you can focus on diapers, sleep, feeds, or health.
  • Expand a row to edit timestamps, durations, notes, or remove duplicates.
  • Offline edits queue locally first; when online they merge back into the same feed.

Medical calendar & preventive care

Medical Calendar surfaces personalized milestones (check-ups, immunizations, dental). When notifications are enabled, upcoming and overdue milestones appear in the bell and on Telegram (Profile → Emergency & medical alerts). Completing items keeps the schedule aligned.

Session Timer & Logout

For security, your session automatically expires after a period of inactivity. A timer in the navbar shows your remaining session time. When time is low, a warning appears and you can extend your session. Click "Logout" in the profile dropdown to end your session manually.

Session Tip: Your session lifetime is configured by your administrator. If you need more time, click "Extend Session" when the warning appears.

Offline Mode - Records saved locally

Baby Tracker works even without an internet connection. When offline, a banner appears at the top of the page. All records are saved locally and automatically sync when you reconnect. The navbar shows a badge indicating pending sync items.
