  • Final hip ultrasound examination

  • Assessment of reflexes and spontaneous motor skills
  • Measurement of weight, length, head circumference
  • Hip maturity assessment (Graf ultrasound)

Preparation Tips

  • Bring the yellow checkup booklet
  • Feed baby before the examination so they are calm

  • What is the hip ultrasound finding (Graf hip type)?
  • Is my baby developing age-appropriately?
  • How often should I give vitamin D?

When to call the doctor

  • Limited mobility of one leg
  • Unusual leg position (frog position is good)
  • Restlessness and excessive crying

Parent Tips

  • Start regular tummy time now (several times daily, short periods)
  • Monitor stool color (not pale/white)
